WELCOME TO FOXROCK PARISH
Come to find joy, peace and fulfillment in Christ.
We are proud to describe ourselves as the “Foxrock Parish Community” which emphasises the essence of our parish as the People of God in the area rather than its geographical location or the existence of a church building.
The Christian community here can trace its roots back to the early Christian site of the church of Clonkeen, dedicated to St. Fintan. For more information a booklet “A History of the Parish of Foxrock” is available from the Foxrock Local History Club (publication #11). The expansion of the city and the massive development of housing estates in South County Dublin particularly in the last fifty years, has resulted in a parish community of some 3,700 Catholic families, where previously there had been only a small rural population.
